Ella Mironovna Binshtok
Ella Mironovna Binshtok (November 19, 1929, Moscow – May 14, 2003, Be'er Sheva, Israel) was a Soviet and Israeli artist.
She was born in Moscow in 1929. At the age of 14, she decided to become an artist. In 1955, she graduated from the Tartu State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR. She taught at the art school in the city of Kostroma in 1955-56. In 1957, she began to participate in republican and Moscow exhibitions. In 1981, her first solo exhibition was held at the Kostroma Museum of Fine Arts.
Her works are housed in the museums of Kostroma, Pavlodar, Pushchino, as well as in private collections in Moscow, Prague, Minsk, Chicago, New York, Montreal, Finland, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Be'er Sheva.
Since 1992, she lived in Israel, in the city of Be'er Sheva.
