Faidysh Tatyana Andreevna
Tatyana Andreevna Faidysh (born January 21, 1955, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian painter, correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Arts (since 2007). Her father, Andrey Petrovich Faidysh-Krandievsky (1920–1967), was a Soviet monumental sculptor. Her mother, Lia (Lidiya) Ilinichna Olshanetskaya-Faidysh (1924–1979), was an artist and book illustrator. She graduated from art school and the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1946). She worked as an artist at the S.V. Obraztsov Puppet Theater. Lia's parents were architect Ilya Olshanetsky (1886–1955) and Lidia Olshanetskaya (née Berg; 1899–1975), an artist who began her creative work later in life in the genre of naive art. Her sister, Marina Andreevna Faidysh (Faidysh-Olshanetskaya; born in 1946), is a graphic artist. Tatyana has three children: two sons and a daughter (triplets):
- Alexander Salenkov, art historian and curator.
- Kirill Salenkov, scenographer and costume designer.
- Maria Salenkova.
Biography
She was born on January 21, 1955, in Moscow.
In 1973, she graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School; in 1980, from the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, in the studio of easel painting under Professor T. T. Salakhov.
Since 1983, she has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
From 2004 to 2006, she taught painting and drawing at the Institute of Design and New Technologies.
In 2007, she was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Department of Painting.
Her works are held in state museums in Russia and abroad.
