Sergey Valentinovich Daragan
Sergey Valentinovich Daragan (born March 5, 1950, Taganrog) is a Russian artist, designer, educator, and director of the S. I. Blonskaya Taganrog Children's Art School.
Biography
In 1975, he graduated from the All-Union Advanced Training Courses of the USSR Ministry of Culture in Rostov-on-Don. In 1983, he graduated from the Art and Graphics Faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. From 1975 to 1987, he was engaged in the design of consumer goods at the Taganrog Aviation Plant. He developed the design for the children's stroller "Krokha," which received the Quality Mark.
Since 1987, S. V. Daragan has taught at the Taganrog Children's Art School. Since 1974, he has been a regular participant in city and regional art exhibitions. He is the author of the wall panel "History of Russia" at the Taganrog Polytechnic College.
From 1998 to 2013, he worked as the director of the S. I. Blonskaya Taganrog Children's Art School.
