Author about himself

His creative process is based on the practice of energetic interactions through ascending meditation, followed by fixation through compositional narrative.

Critic

Artist of the Age of Aquarius. (From the creative horoscope of Alexander Rekunenko) An era is changing. The Age of Pisces is being replaced by the Age of Aquarius. And the artist, a person with a sensitive soul, cannot help but respond to this global change of deeply dramatic character. As it is known, Aquarius is the servant of the world, and therefore, moving from the Age of Pisces (the era of individualism) to the age of service, we feel how the accents change at all levels of creative activity. The very nature of creativity acquires a completely different sound. In the Age of Pisces, art was largely formally oriented: all the requirements and interests of creativity 'rested' on the mastery of color and composition, conveying states and shades of feelings. In the Age of Aquarius, a developed soul will have the opportunity to 'enter high states of consciousness' and 'paint from these states,' thus giving some materialization to these visions. Thus, a new type of icon will be created, and a qualitative leap will occur in the development of artistic creativity ... All art is magical. An artist is a field of a grand battle between light and dark forces. Therefore, it is important not only what and how he does, but also which principle prevailed in him at the moment of creation. At the juncture of eras, the responsibility of each person for the fate of the world increases, and for those who have the opportunity to influence the nature and direction of change—certainly including creative artists—this responsibility is doubled. Alexander Rekunenko has been given much and he is fully aware of his astral responsibility. Lilia Baitenova
