Born in Moscow on February 15, 1960. Graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after A.V. Lunacharsky, faculty of art and graphics.

His works are held in private collections and galleries in the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, the embassies of Brazil and Iceland in Moscow, and the Russian Embassy in Madagascar.

Author about himself
Nature is infinite in its manifestations, and so is man by his very nature; he always seeks to test his possibilities. For me, the world of painting and easel graphics is a complete revelation. As a Russian person born on this beautiful, sacred, and much-suffering land, I love it dearly. The sense of kinship with Russia warms and nourishes my creativity. The paths of life and creativity lead me ever deeper into Russian nature, the Russian countryside, ever closer to the soul of the Russian land, and today all this has become my true environment, my real world, from which I draw my inspiration.
Critic
I first met Sergey Razzhivin when he was entering art school. Our meetings, joint plein airs in Abramtsevo, and acquaintance with the works of my father, a traveling artist, helped Sergey develop a powerful color intensity and moved him deeply. His successes are undeniable. The main theme of his works is the unsurpassed beauty of the Russian land. His persistence and tenacity, bringing joy to people, aid him greatly.
