Akhmetvaliev Rasikh Khasipovich

Akhmetvaliev Rasikh Khasipovich (born December 27, 1956) is an artist. Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2010). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1992, member of Maison des Artistes, France (2002).

Biography

Akhmetvaliev Rasikh Khasipovich was born on December 24 (passport states December 27), 1956, in the village of Bikeevo, Chishminsky district, Bashkir ASSR. He is of Tatar nationality.
After school, he studied in Ufa at the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Ufa Music and Pedagogical College, in the same class as Yuri Shevchuk. Upon graduation, in 1976, he entered the Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute.
In 1981, he graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after I. Akmulla.
He was a member of the creative group "Inzer" (1989–1993), a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1992, and the creative association "Chingiskhan" since 1990.
In 1991, he worked in the USA.
From 2002 to 2008, he lived and worked in France (Honfleur, Paris), collaborating with the Bartoux Gallery and, from 2009, with the Visio dell'Arte Gallery, Paris. In France, he participated in Parisian exhibitions such as the "Salon d'Automne," Carrousel du Louvre, and had permanent exhibitions in galleries of Robert Bartoux: Paris, Honfleur, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Megève, Courchevel.
He works in the Cubist technique and describes his style as figurative art. The main theme of his paintings is female beauty, images of the artist's muse, and the masculine images of horsemen.
His works are held in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Bashkir State Art Museum named after M. V. Nesterov (Ufa), Novosibirsk Art Museum, Museum Toulouse-Lautrec (Paris, France), London Academy of Arts (England), MNK NCC "Kazan" (Kazan, RT), Gallery "Miras" (Ufa), the Academia Art Gallery (Ufa), GNI "Ural" of the Ministry of Culture and National Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Ufa), in the Novosibirsk State Art Museum, the Sh. Marjani Foundation for Supporting and Developing Scientific and Cultural Programs, and in many private collections in Russia and abroad.
