In the oval compressed form on a profiled base, a thick-walled, smoke-colored glass vase is executed with etched and enamel and gold painting decor on an ice glass-like ground. At the bottom, there is a thistle flower sign "Gallé déposé". Height is 16.2 cm. This is an early French smoke-colored, acid-etched and enameled glass vase with decor of thistles by Emile Gallé. It is signed and from France, Nancy, Emile Gallé, circa 1885-1895.
