"Au gui l'an neuf" by Daum Frères is a flat, round-shaped bottle with a conical base and a slightly curved flared lid. It is made of transparent glass in a light green color. The decoration, executed in several steps, consists of gilded motifs of mistletoe branches and a wish, with the berries painted in white enamel, creating an icy glass-like effect. Along the edge of the lid, there is a corresponding mistletoe frieze. This piece is attributed to Henri Bergé, around 1897, and is signed "Daum Nancy" with a Lothringen cross in gold. It measures approximately 5.2 cm in height and 10.3 cm in diameter. This French Art Nouveau light green cameo glass box and cover by Daum Frères features acid-etched, enameled, and gilt decor depicting mistletoes and a wish for a happy new year, "Au gui l'an neuf." It is signed and originates from France, Nancy, by Daum Frères, around 1897.
