Colorless, lightly grayish, thick-walled glass. Slightly conical shape, bottom with ground-off pontil mark. Cut decoration running around the circumference. Displaying a large rectangular field with a battle scene between a Turk (Ottoman) and a Western horseman, inscription "DEATH AND LIFE CAN (N) US W(E)AR". Reverse side with various trophies, the base guarded by two flanking dogs. Height 12.8 cm. Provenance: Northern German private collection.
