An exhibited stand from KPM-Berlin presents an ovoid or corpus with rounded shoulders, a set-in, drawn-in neck, and a flowing mouth. The form is called "Weinblüte" (wine blossom). On the surface, there is a comprehensive, floral relief decor consisting of delicate leaf tendrils and raised flowers, partly serving as a frame for chamois-colored, mint green, and seladon-colored background areas. On both sides, there are six oval reserves with a brightly colored bouquet of roses painted in soft, polychrome, white-enhanced painting. The form was either designed by Julius Mantel in 1881 and modeled by his son Louis. The scepter and decorator's mark are for Paul (Hermann) Makowitz (active since 1892). Scepter mark.
