On a naturalistically designed pedestal stand four standing putti representing the seasons. One putto is depicted as Spring, holding a flower basket; another as Summer, with sheaves of grain and a sickle; the third as Autumn, adorned with a wreath of grapevines and grapes; and the fourth as Winter, wearing a fur-lined cloak and ice skates. The polychrome painting is accentuated with gold contours. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Model numbers A 64, A 67, A 69, A 71. Partly insignificant restorations/chips; crossed swords mark. Height measures 13 cm - 13.5 cm. These are four porcelain figures of cupids representing the seasons. They have been partly restored and chipped. The crossed swords mark indicates that they are from the Meissen porcelain factory, dating around 1900.
