With a Watteau scene and floral decoration on a square base supported by curled volute feet. Above a multi-tiered round foot, a baluster-shaped vase body with strong convexity. Palm leaves ascend on the sides in relief, serving as handles. The raised, pierced lid is crowned by a delicate floral arrangement. All sides are adorned with relief Rocaille and scattered flower decoration, with abundant festoons of flowers and fruits, as well as occasional insects and butterflies. Below sits Flora with a filled flower basket, above her a floating cupid. On both sides of the wall, a large-scale, so-called Watteau scene with a musical society or colorful flower arrangement. Fine polychrome painting with rich gold staffage. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Partially damaged/restored; crossed swords mark. Vase height 73 cm, base height 13 cm. A splendid potpourri porcelain vase with corresponding base, finely applied with flowers, figures of Flora, and a cupid, finely painted with a Watteau scene and flower bouquet modeled by J.J.
