Born in 1944 in Berkeley, California, "Dragged Mass Geometric (Red)" is an original composition consisting of four color serigraphs on Arches 88 paper, created in 1989. This particular piece is an artist's proof, numbered 4 out of 4, outside of the edition of 36 prints. Each print is verso numbered and bears the copyright stamp of the artist and publisher Achenbach Art Edition, Düsseldorf. The prints were produced by Rupert Jason Smith in New York, with one print featuring a dry stamp. The composition measures approximately 126 cm x 251 cm when assembled, with each individual sheet measuring either 70 cm x 100 cm or 100 cm x 70 cm.
