Reformation of an Art Déco model by the Schwarzburger Workshops. Seated on a pedestal with a lens-shaped base, the Bajazzo is depicted in a long costume, holding a female mask in his hands and contemplating. He wears a white costume with a large ruff and a black head covering. The painting is done in a restrained polychrome style. Possibly by Dorothea Charol, around 1919/20. Model number 296. Manufacturer's mark: fox and manufacture mark. Height: 37 cm. Counterpart to the Bajazzo (model 442). A Thuringian porcelain figure of Bajazzo (or Pierrot) with mask. Fox and manufacturer's mark.
