Faience. Octagonal baluster form with a protruding foot, the rounded shoulder merging into a short neck with a flared mouth. Rich, cobalt blue sharp-fired decoration, the fields of the body alternating with two different floral motifs. German, best; and undecipherable monogram as a manufacturer or painter's mark in blue. Height 19 cm. A German, probably Berlin, blue and white faience vase. Minor chips. Indistinct factory or painter's mark (monogram) on the bottom. German, probably Berlin. 1st quarter 18th century.
