Heavy silver and niello belt, Caucasus, late 19th century. Silver, partially nielloed, remnants of gilding; leather strap. 61 narrow silver links, two-part silver buckle, on a leather strap. Massive two-part silver buckle in hump shape, decorated with nielloed leaf and flower motifs. All parts with embossed, partially nielloed vine work. All parts stamped on the back with a city mark and illegible master's mark "S?"
