A Russian sterling silver cigarette case with a gold-plated medal on the front and a lot of gold overlays on the back on the case including a gold corner. The medal represents Louis-Gabriel Suchet, 1770 to 1826, a French Marshal, inscription in French along the rim indicates his titles. The corner of the front lid bears the engraved initials ER.
