A Russian jewelry or trinket box made of carved and polished burlwood. The piece rests on silver ball feet. The front side and the hinged lid are decorated with silver overlay representing the Imperial Eagle, a combined monogram of the emperors Alexander I and Nicholas II, and floral garlands.
