19th century Russian icon of Christ Pantocrator with a silver robe in cloisonné enamel technique. Made in Moscow by S. Egorov, around 1880 (robe). The icon is painted on a wooden panel with two missing back splines. Tempera on chalk ground. The non-original silver robe is gilded and marked with a city mark, "84" silver standard mark, and the workshop mark "CE". The halo is decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel.
