20th century Russian imperial antique cigar box trompe l'oeil made of solid silver, rectangular, hinged lid, sides and base with embossing and engraving, imitating wood grain and tobacco stripes. Both parts have the hallmark "Russian silver 84 standard" (875 standard), Moscow, 1899-1908, manufacturer's mark F.O (Fedor Ovchinnikov).
