On an irregular naturalistic base, two sitting, playing leopards are depicted. The artwork is executed in polychrome underglaze painting. It is attributed to either Etha Richter, around 1921. The artwork is marked with the model number U 1271 and shows some minor restorations. The manufacturer's mark indicates that it was produced by the Thuringian porcelain workshops in Unterweißbach, Schwarzburger Werkstätten, between 1926 and 1936. Provenance: From the estate of a significant private collection in Northern Germany.
