On the front side, a cobalt blue background, with an octagonal, partially gold-ornamented reserve. Within it, the city views of Meissen overlooking the Elbe with the Altstadtbrücke and the Albrechtsburg in fine, polychrome painting. On the back, a dedication inscription in gold to "Herrn Oberamtsrichter Caspari (...) on his transition into retirement (...) from the personnel of the Royal District Court Meissen / end of December 1898."
