Octagonal pedestal with relief wave band. Above wave terrain, lying in a shell, a fish-tailed Nereid, with Cupid sitting in front of her, listening. Laterally hanging bow and filled quiver of Cupid. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly by Otto König, around 1863-1866. Model number G 148. Firing cracks. Minor chips/restorations. Sword mark. Height 16 cm. After training at the art school of the Meissen Manufactory, Otto König studied at the Dresden Art Academy from 1860, as a student of Ernst Hähnel since 1861.
