From the series "Four Elements," an irregular rock pedestal with wave terrain. In a shell carriage pulled by one of two Nereids sits the seated, crowned sea goddess Amphitrite, with a bow-shaped, delicately yellow, patterned cloth adorned with gold stars. On the front and back, a putto on a dolphin or a Triton child with a shell horn. Thematic and compositional models of the subjects "Triumph of Amphitrite" or "Triumph of Galatea."
