About quadratic profile plinths, sitting on a naturalistic rock base, is the sleeping Endymion in a rose-colored cloth with a meandering border. Standing next to him, the goddess Diana, crowned with a sickle, appears as a huntress in an antique-style, fur-lined coat with a filled quiver, lovingly placing her right arm around Endymion's leg, with the intention of kissing him. She has leaned her bow against the rock. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly by Christian Gottfried Jüchtzer, 1786. Model number I 8, with unknown restorations; sword mark. Height 29 cm.
