Also called "La Fiancée Villageoise" (The Village Bride). On a relief-ornamented round socle, an all-encompassing group. In front of a satyr herm stands a rural bridal couple, flanked by a dog and a lamb. In the background, an approaching gentleman with a green money pouch. On the reverse, a boy sitting on a rock with a plastic flower garland. At his feet, a filled baby cradle with bed linen. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly Michel Victor Acier.
