On an oval plinth sits a young lady in a distinguished pose, dressed in a lilac-colored dress adorned with a wide ornamental border. Her dark, upswept hair is covered by a broad hat with bow trimmings. In her left hand, she holds a fan. The polychrome painting is accented with gold. Possibly by Theodor Eichler, around 1907. During a longer stay in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century, Theodor Eichler (born 1868) drew inspiration from the fashionable and elegant ladies of the "fin de siècle".
