Faience, cloister blue glaze. So-called bird decor in manganese violet sgraffito painting with scattered flowers, four-point pattern, and stylized small rosettes. The braided bun with central ridge, divided base, and herringbone decor. Lip rim and handle with German initials of the glaze. Original gilded silver mounting.
