Tatyana SAVVATEEVA, born December 22, 1936, in the "Seimchan" state farm, Magadan region.
In 1957, she graduated from the M.I. Kalinin Moscow School of Artistic and Industrial Design with honors, teachers: M.A. Shmakov, S.P. Evangulov.
1958 Participant of the World Exhibition in Brussels.
In 1964, she graduated from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, teachers: A. Drevin, N. Tomsky, M. Baburin.
Since 1965, participant in Moscow, regional, republican, all-union, Russian and international exhibitions, including in Czechoslovakia, Poland, France.
1966 Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize (for the work “Fishermen”, wood, 1966).
1967 Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
1987 Personal exhibition. “Krutitsky Val” Hall, Moscow.
Since 1992, member of the Sculpture Section of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Association of Moscow Sculptors.
2002, 2004 Winner’s diplomas at the "Spring Salons" competition, Moscow.
2004 Personal exhibition. Moscow House of the Sculptor.
2020 Donated her collection of sculptures to the city of Kimry, Tver region. Tatyana Savvateeva’s permanent exhibition (museum) is located in the District House of Folk Art.
Author of monumental works installed in Siberia, near Ryazan, in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

About her art
- The most important aspect of Tatyana Savvateeva’s work is her love of life. Everything she sees touches her soul, so her range of themes is so wide, and her array of plastic means is varied.
In each case, she tries to most vividly convey the character of the subject, its uniqueness.
She understands perfectly that in each such case it is necessary to find her own expressive language, always different from her previous discoveries, and so she is always searching, looking intently at the world around her. In it she sees an endless variety of reasons for creativity.
Among the many sculptural techniques mastered by the artist, Tatyana Savvateeva most confidently and subtly feels the "modeled" form – her ability to express both rapid observation and prolonged study of nature, as well as her own intonation, the rhythm and tempo of her work: sharp cuts with a modeling tool, working with the palm, with fingers.
